Safety Issue:
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2018-2024 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The wiring harness for the rearview camera and the center brake light may short circuit, which can disable the rearview camera image and center brake light. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 111, "Rear Visibility" and 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2020 Jeep Gladiator and Jeep Cherokee, 2019-2020 Ram 1500 Pickup, Ram 2500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Pickup, Chrysler Pacifica, Dodge Durango, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Wrangler, and Jeep Renegade and 2019 Dodge Challenger vehicles equipped with 8.4" or 12" radio displays. A software error can cause the rearview camera image to remain displayed after the vehicle has been shifted out of reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rearview Mirrors."

PURCHASED A 2019 WRANGLER UNLIMITED FOR OVER $40,000 ON MAY 4, 2019. IMMEDIATELY NOTICED AN ISSUE WITH STEERING. IT SWAYS LEFT TO RIGHT WHEN DRIVING STRAIGHT AND IT'S EXHAUSTING TO KEEP THE CAR IN THE LANE. BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALER AT AROUND 100 MILES AND THEY SAID NOTHING WAS WRONG. I ASKED THE TECH TO TAKE MINE AND ONE ON THE LOT FOR A TEST DRIVE WHICH HE DID. HE IMMEDIATELY SAW THE ISSUE. HE SEARCHED FOR A FIX AND FOUND THAT THERE WAS A PART HE COULD TRY TO REPLACE TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE (TRACK BAR). I BROUGHT THE CAR BACK AT 212 MILES AND THEY DID THE WORK. I PARKED THE VEHICLE AND NEXT AVAILABLE DAY WAS THAT SATURDAY MAY 4TH 2019 TO BRING BACK TO SECURITY CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP IN AMITYVILLE, NY. MY VEHICLE WENT IN WITH 88 MILES. MAY 6TH I WAS ADVISED VEHICLE WAS CLEARED FOR PICK UP. GOT TO DEALER AROUND 8:15PM MAY 6TH AND STILL FOUND STOP/START WARNING ICON ILLUMINATED ON VEHICLE.. DEALER COULD NOT FIND ISSUE, THEY PUT OVER 15 MILES ON MY VEHICLE FOR DRIVE CYCLING THE VEHICLE BUT NO REPAIRS WERE MADE.
