The fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.

American Honda Motor Co. (Honda) is recalling certain model year 2016 Civic 2-Door vehicles manufactured February 23, 2016, through May 20, 2016. The affected vehicles may have a damaged LED side marker light circuit board inside the taillight assembly, making the marker light inoperable. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Assoc. Equipment."

EVEN AFTER THE PRODUCT UPDATE APPLIED TO THE CAR ON JAN 2019 WHILE IT WAS OWNED BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER, IT STILL HAS A HIGH AMOUNT OF OIL DILUTION ISSUE WHICH WILL SEVERELY IMPACT THE CAR IN THE LONG RUN. PARKING THIS CAR IN A GARAGE AFTER A DRIVE MAKES THE WHOLE GARAGE SMELL LIKE GAS. AND A POINT TO NOTE IS THAT IT'S SUMMER HERE IN OHIO NOW. AFTER A FRESH OIL CHANGE RIGHT AFTER I BOUGHT IT AND DRIVING A MERE DISTANCE OF 50 MILES ALREADY HAD DUMPED SO MUCH OF GAS INTO THE ENGINE THAT THE DIPSTICK HAD HIGH OIL LEVEL.
