EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Potential Consequences:
This issue appears to fall under recall 97CB for a Side Marker Light Violation on select Audi vehicles. I own a 2017 Audi Q7 and have been receiving an error that the "front right side marker light is defective". Audi service has stated that the issue is with an individual LED diode so the entire headlight unit must be replaced to the tune of $4,400.00. Since my VIN is not included in recall 97CB, they will not replace it. My vehicle was purchased as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle and had approximately 63,000 miles when the defect occurred. I am respectfully requesting to expand the pool of VIN numbers included in this recall as it appears to not be localized to the VINs previously identified.

My vin was not included in. The Fix Side Marker Light Software Glitch. Safety Recall Code: 97CB. There’s a lot of vehicles same model and year like mine with This safety issue. Audi refuses to fix it because my vin it’s not included in this fix. They will replace my whole lights for $9,500.00 this is insane. I will like to drive a safe car without having to pay for something that it’s actually a defect. We yo too much for this cars and for them to be not held responsible. I don’t feel safe driving my car but I can’t afford $9,500 in repairs. We can’t even fix it ourselves if we wanted to because it’s not repairable it needs a new unit. I would like my vin to be included in this safety recall.

ENGINE
Potential Consequences:
Purchased 2017 Q7 sometime back in August of 2019. the car had about 42k miles on it as it was a used CPO car. After purchase the car was driven around 8900 miles suddenly the warning sign and sound occurs to warned to add engine oil. This is not supposed to happen as the car can drive up to 10k miles in single oil change. Went to the dealer right away & they blame on the tech saying " he must have not added enough oil my mistake. 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th,6th time I experienced the issue I reported them and they always came back something related my driving style, or behavior that is causing the issue and nothing at their fault. They always says something to avoid to look further to the problem or to avoid/admitted their mistake ( Manufacture). I didn't even realize that they are probably trying to push the car mileage out of factory warranty as well. than I got the warning came in below 6k miles and seeing very high oil consumption ratio but by than my car has close to 111k miles on it - I had to show my research result of on going Audi oil consumption cases for different model than the took the car and ran some test and found out that my car burns 1.52 litter of engine oil in every 1000 miles that it runs back then. Audi tech recommended engine replacement or piston ring replacement. Now my car burns so much engine oil that every 580 miles I need to add a QT of oil to keep driving. Talked to Audi customer service, the dealer service managers and they all saying that the car has high mileage but there are lots of Audi car has the same issue though they cant help me since my car has high mileage. I feel like this is Audi's manufactural issues to begin with to build a car with poor quality piston head and piston rings. the cylinder can bust and catch file, or piston can brake while driving also burns so much oil that it sure pollute the air - there are 100's of thousands of Audi with same problem to produce enough CO@ that we can avoid by holding them accountable.
