Defect Description:
SERVICE BRAKES
Potential Consequences:
What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Jeep 4xe: after coming to a complete stop or just slowing down and entering a lower gear, has a 1-2 second delay in the accelerator. Has caused tires to squeal when accelerator started to respond. Have almost caused accidents when becoming unresponsive as the vehicle will move forward but lose accelerator power. This happens infrequently and spontaneously which makes it impossible to plan for/ drive defensively against, cannot replicate or force it to happen. Vehicle can be inspected upon request. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Vehicle will move forward after stopping, such as an intersection, and suddenly does not increase for 1-2 seconds making me a hazard to traffic. This happens maybe 1-3x a week and is impossible to replicate. Have been almost rear ended many times as no brake lights appear when this happens. Have almost been t-boned by oncoming traffic because of the delay. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? No. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? Vehicle has had engine repaired and inspected by dealership. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No.
Corrective Action:

Defect Description:
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Potential Consequences:
The fact that Jeep has a recall that is not repairable for what appears to be months now is completely unacceptable. I bought this hybrid for a reason. To drive it around town without having to use gas. Now I can't charge my Jeep or park it in my garage? Then calling customer service is a joke. No buy back or gas reimbursement?

Potential Consequences:
My vehicle is waiting for a fix for Recall 24V720000 / 95B – It is totally unacceptable that Jeep has no time frame for a solution for this horrific safety issue however my vehicle is having another even more dangerous issue that Jeep refuses to acknowledge and I know I am not the only one with this serious defect. My vehicle (2023 4Xe with 5000 miles) losses acceleration power… This has happened at least 10x over the past 5 months. The check engine light often flashes on and off or stays on steady during this. When engaging the gas pedal at various speeds (30-65MPH) the gas fails to respond or output any power causing the vehicle to slowdown dramatically. SIGNIFICANT risk of being crashed into. It takes flooring the gas pedal and anywhere from it 10-25 seconds for the power to kick back in / engage and accelerate. I have been trying to get this fixed since August. One Jeep dealership (had my vehicle for 36 days) replicated the issue but got ‘no code’ therefore they could not fix. Since the 24V720000 / 95B was announced 2 months ago no Jeep dealership (I have contacted over 18) will even attempt to investigate or fix this issue as they claim its related to the battery recall 24V720000 / 95B. I urge you to investigate this loss of power before something catastrophic occurs.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Potential Consequences:
The battery recall from Jeep still does not have any tentative timeline and no further communications from Jeep. At this point, Jeep has not offered any compensation towards the gas costs which otherwise could have been much less with electricity. Safety is my primary concern and I have to rent vehicles for the major trips especially during the holiday months.

Defect Description:
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Potential Consequences:
I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the safety recall issued for my 2023 Jeep Wrangler Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) under Recall Number 95B/NHTSA 24V-720. The recall highlights a critical defect in the High Voltage (HV) battery, which poses a severe risk of fire due to internal cell damage caused by defective components. While I understand that FCA US LLC is working on a remedy, I have not been provided with a clear timeline for repairs, leaving me in a highly unsafe and uncertain situation. The fact that the recall advises against charging the vehicle and even recommends parking it away from structures and other vehicles emphasizes the magnitude of the fire hazard. This creates a significant inconvenience and renders the vehicle virtually unusable for its intended purpose. I no longer feel comfortable driving or even owning this vehicle, as the defect jeopardizes my safety, the safety of others, and my property. The lack of immediate resolution places me in a position where I am unable to confidently rely on this vehicle without fear of a catastrophic event. I urge the NHTSA to intervene and ensure that FCA US LLC provides a timely resolution, including exploring options for replacement or refund, as this defect makes the vehicle a danger to myself and the community. Given the serious nature of this recall, I feel that no consumer should be left waiting without an actionable solution while exposed to such a critical safety risk.

I have spent more than 8 hours on hold, on the phone, via email, attempting a resolution as my Jeep is unable to be parked away from other vehicles or structures as I reside in a residential neighborhood, or away from structures at work, as I work at an elementary school with limited parking options. Jeep is completely aware of the situation and unwilling to provide a loaner vehicle as there are "not any available" at this time. With over 150,000 vehicles recalled, all vehicles at ANY Jeep dealer should be being offered as loaner vehicles at this time, as there is no fix for this situation in sight. My vehicle is at risk for bursting into flames at any moment. I cannot drive it using electricity which is why it was purchased. The vehicle is an ongoing threat to myself, my place of work, and my community, Jeep is aware, and they are not doing anything to resolve the issue. My Jeep only has 13,000 miles on it and is still under warranty. I have requested a buy back option as Jeep is unable to provide a safe location to store my vehicle or an alternative vehicle to drive, however have not heard back from their customer service team. I have emails, calls, and a contact log of all correspondence. The lack of customer service and solutions being offered to customers should be considered criminal as the risk of not just my 4xe, but all those under recall, are an immediate threat to the lives of others.

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Potential Consequences:
Recall 95B. I have been given the runaround for months on the status of this recall from the FCA recall center and Jeep. I purchased a hybrid Jeep 4xE with the main purpose of being able to run both electric and gas. However, jeep is telling me not to charge the vehicle, do not park it in the garage, and to make sure that it’s not parked near any structures because of explosion/fire hazard! This is completely unacceptable to not have a resolution for such a major concern in a timely manner.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Potential Consequences:
On Friday, [XXX] I was driving my jeep to work in the early morning hours. I was about ½ mile from getting on the highway when my jeep completely shut down. Everything inside of my jeep went black and I was completely horrified. I managed to get the jeep started and was able to drive to work. When I got to work I immediately called Ourisman Jeep in Bowie Maryland and explained the problem to them. I brought the jeep in on Monday, October 7th and my Jeep has been there since then. After Ourisman having the jeep for two weeks, I was informed that my Jeep was part of a newly released recall involving electric jeeps with no projected resolution date. I no longer feel safe driving my Jeep and I have asked for a “swap” of sorts. I have requested another vehicle that is exactly the same as my current vehicle just NOT ELECTRIC. I was been advised that my request needed to be escalated but after many many conversations there is still no resolution to my request. I am absolutely disappointed with the way this situation has been handled. I cannot help but think of the deadly repercussions had I been on the highway when this incident occurred. I did not ask for this inconvenience that is totally exhausted me financially and emotionally. I am driving a rental car that I am paying for wit the understanding of reimbursement once I return the vehicle. This issue is not one that I created but rather a failing on the corporation to provide a swift and satisfying resolution. While I’m sure this may cause Jeep to lose significant revenue, I find it completely disgusting that they would put corporate dollars before the safety of its owners. As of today 11/22/26 I have no resolution, no car and paying close to $400.00 per week for a rental car! INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Complaint Regarding Recall 24V720000 – Jeep Wrangler 4xe (2023 Model) I am filing this complaint regarding the recall of my 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (VIN: [XXX] - under Recall Number 24V720000, issued due to a potential fire risk. This defect represents a severe safety hazard that jeopardizes the safety of my family, property, and others. Details of the Issue: The recall was issued due to a defect in the hybrid powertrain that could result in a fire, even when the vehicle is parked and turned off. Jeep/Stellantis has advised owners to: •Refrain from charging the vehicle. •Park it away from structures and other vehicles. This advisory alone highlights the gravity of the issue, rendering the vehicle unsafe to use as intended. Steps Taken to Remedy: •I have contacted my dealership and Stellantis to schedule a repair; however, no remedy has been made available to date. •It has become clear that Stellantis is unable to provide a timely or effective solution to fix this safety-critical defect. Lemon Law Qualification: California Lemon Law, under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, provides protections for substantial defects that impair the use, value, or safety of a vehicle. The following criteria are met: 1.Substantial Safety Defect: A fire risk qualifies as a substantial defect that threatens the safety of occupants and property. 2.Reasonable Repair Attempts: Despite the recall, Stellantis has not resolved the issue, and the vehicle remains unusable for its intended purpose. 3.Unresolved Issue: My vehicle has been effectively out of service due to safety concerns, and Stellantis has been unable to provide a timeline for resolution.
