FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
Potential Consequences:
All wrong lights came on the dash and all components had failed. Took it to the dealership and they weren't able to diagnose, they reset the system and said that if it failed again I would need to purchase a Honda battery as it had recently replaced with another brand. Everything worked for about two weeks until I was on the freeway with the cruise control set at 75 and suddenly the brakes took me down 35. Very frightening experience. Took it in again and they said I needed to replace the camera in the windshield at $1,900.00: my car only had 42,000 miles and 4 years old. Reluctantly, we replaced and paid for the camera and once again the cruise and lane assist failed a week later. My screen also appears to be defective as it goes black and pixilated and the dealership simply resets it and the problem persists. Took it into the dealership for the 4th time and they reset system and once again it worked for about week... again the forward collision warning slammed on the brakes on the freeway. I do not feel safe driving the car with all the failures happening so abruptly. Honda is not being helpful with this problem and the severity of the problem doesn't seem to be a priority.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
Potential Consequences:
I have had two major issues with my 2017 Honda Accord sport since buying it brand new that the Honda dealership will do nothing about even though I’ve specifically been told twice on two separate occasions that the car was manufactured defected. My mitigation systems has failed multiple times where it just stops responding losing control of the steering and accelerating on its own. One of those times caused me to run off the highway into the ditch. It just randomly iluminates all “mitigation systems failure” at the most random times. Another thing is the ridiculous tire issues I’ve had with this vehicle. I have put brand new set, after set, after set on this car. On two occasions atleast one my brand new tires lasted less then two weeks after purchasing due to extreme wear on the inside of the tires. Two different automotive mechanics have told me I can’t even have my car aligned due to the way it was manufactured they would have to completely swap out major components of my steering and suspension to do so. I believe they said it’s the drive line or drive shaft is to large for the car and it’s the cause of all my tire issues and steering issues

Additional Notes:
I have had two major issues with my 2017 Honda Accord sport since buying it brand new that the Honda dealership will do nothing about even though I’ve specifically been told twice on two separate occasions that the car was manufactured defected. Defect Description:
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Potential Consequences:
The in dash stereo system with Bluetooth makes loud static noises, regardless of whether the stereo system is on or off. The static noise is extremely loud and unpleasant, and should be considered a safety hazard. The only way to make it stop is to pull the fuse for the head unit. Pulling the fuse makes the infotainment system turn off, which means I can no longer have access to backup camera or the trip computer.
