Not often, but at least 1-2 times a year at slow speeds, the brakes fail to function. The pedal feels odd, and unresponsive usually under 5mph parking lot type speeds. Have to place car in park in order for it to stop. Had to dealer when I first got it almost 3yrs ago but they were unable ro duplicate. Restarting the car resolved issue for the instance and it could be a year before it happens again. It’s scary, Google search brings this issue right up with a lot of complaints. This sounds like a future recall.

We were violently thrown forward( unexpected stoppage) . Car in back had to slam on its brakes and swerve off Road to keep from hitting us! This has happened about 4 times. I have taken Car to dealer and they keep saying there is nothing wrong with the Car! The Service guy who I am assigned to told me to cut off the Braking system. If it’s not safe why do the keep it on the Car and sell it! I am afraid to drive the Car for fear I will be killed or injure somebody else! The Service dept does not note what I brought Car in for on my service history, this is deceptive record keeping! Corrective Action:
While driving on [XXX] I was in traffic, Car ahead of me was 2 Car lengths ahead, emergency Brake slammed on! I had put my foot lightly on brake to slow down to keep safe distance! We were violently thrown forward( unexpected stoppage) . Car in back had to slam on its brakes and swerve off Road to keep from hitting us! This has happened about 4 times. I have taken Car to dealer and they keep saying there is nothing wrong with the Car! The Service guy who I am assigned to told me to cut off the Braking system. If it’s not safe why do the keep it on the Car and sell it! I am afraid to drive the Car for fear I will be killed or injure somebody else! The Service dept does not note what I brought Car in for on my service history, this is deceptive record keeping! Memory seat moves on its own while driving. It also fails to retain memory settings. Has been to dealer multiple times and the seat motor was replaced twice. It's dangerous to drive as you must adjust seat while driving constantly. Electronics system doesn't remember settings forcing you to continually adjust while driving - very distracting. Once the seat pushed me all the way forward onto the dashboard while driving on the freeway.

After stopping vehicle at red light, drive thru, stop sign, when I try to accelerate a check engine light comes on and message power train malfunction/reduced power. The vehicle then has to be put in park, restart, and put back in drive. This happened when pulling out into road at a stop sign, and a busy red light. I feel this is a safety issue. I have taken the vehicle to Lincoln and they state unable to duplicate problem. This has happened four times since I purchased the vehicle new in August 2023. The most recent time was December 6.

28 march 2023,I went out to go to medical appointment. The car was locked and would not open.Opened using skeleton key, there was no voltage. I connected a battery charger and it didn’t even make a difference left it connected for over an hour. It wouldn’t even show any charge. 3 hrs later removed all connections to car.2 hours later my son got in and hit the Start button and it started right up. This type of malfunction creates an unsafe condition if occurring while driving. Need a dependable vehicle. Cannot accept this type condition. Turned in to car dealership.

SEAT BELTS
Potential Consequences:
The seat belts in my vehicle takes two to three times to click and stay, the back seat belt on the passenger side was stuck and could not be worn for about a month after the vehicle was driven from Odessa, Tx to me in Memphis, TN on July 1, 2022. The head rest on the passenger side will not adjust at all. It is still stuck forward and is hard to rest my head against it. The Advanced Driver Assistance Systems has stopped working since I got the truck, the steering wheel use to put the vehicle back in my lane but it does not do that anymore. I'm not sure what the difference is between the lane departure warning and the lane keeping assistance but it seems neither one works. Last, but not least the vehicle has a smell coming from it like something is burning under the hood. This vehicle already has two recalls and I called the dealership in Memphis, TN and spoke with Allison and she told me the parts for these recalls were not in and that I really did not have to get them fixed!!!!! I live in Southaven, Mississippi and have been trying to get rid of this vehicle since February because it is not worth the money and I am having a very hard time getting a decent offer for it so I won't be so much upside down on the next vehicle I choose. This is my first Lincoln and my last!!!! Oh and not to mention, the first recall was December 2022 and I received the mail regarding the recall February 12th or later. One more thing I need to mention, the driver seat hurts to sit in, it's like the seat digs into your thighs. There is lumbar support for your back in the front seats but it feels like seat cushion have an issue with being too hard.
