Defect Description:
UNKNOWN OR OTHER
Potential Consequences:
The radio touchscreen delaminated. Do to the delamination the screen would experience 'ghost touches' resulting in random controls being pressed. For example, At times, while driving highway speed the backup camera would activate and distract the driver and require screen input to deactivate while driving. SOmetimes 911 would be called through a ghost touch. Anything that could be pressed is possible. This is a major driver distraction and while it did not cause an injury while I was driving, it clearly is a safety hazard to take eyes off the road (and hands) when the screen is flickering with different actions. the only fix is to replace the screen by the dealership.

Defect Description:
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Potential Consequences:
The jeep screen delaminates which will cause 'ghost taps' on the screen. These ghost taps could do anything that can be changed in the vehicle while still or driving. For example, while driving at highway speeds, the rear view camera will activate on the screen causing a major distraction from driving. Additionally, anything else can happen from dailing random phone numbers, calling 911, turning the heat to high or off, changing any setting.....all while driving. Driver distraction is a major cause of accidents and a known delamination issue must be investigated. This is a common issue for certain model years of the jeeps or similar FCA cars.

Defect Description:
STEERING
Potential Consequences:
Factory Aluminum Steering Box presents a severe safety hazard and should be immediately recalled due to its dangerous failure in cold and probably all temperatures. In low temperatures, the steering sticks and does not move freely, making normal driving extremely hazardous for both the driver and others on the road. While straight roads may not reveal the issue, attempting to turn on a curve becomes life-threatening—the wheel sticks, preventing necessary maneuvering or it darts me in another direction. Once it finally releases, it can lead to overcorrection, which is especially perilous on slick, icy, or snow-covered roads. This issue occurs without warning, at any speed, and significantly increases the risk of crashes. FCA is aware of the problem and has issued a Technical Service Bulletin 08-074-20 REV., but this is not a recall—meaning owners are left at risk. Die pretty much or risk your family dying and others or just get into that accident so the insurance companies screw you as always and you are left with nothing-those insurance adjusters don't work for we the people. This failure causes me a to have a collision daily and a run-off-road accident while traveling with my family on the interstate. The safety implications are undeniable, and action must be taken before lives are lost. This is not just a mechanical flaw—it’s a critical safety failure that demands an urgent recall. Then add in the notorious shimmy/shake onset of a death wobble. You are going the speed limit/interatate highway speeds and go over a bridge and it's over-you better pray! When driving a low speed 53mph if the vehicle hits a bump, it will start bouncing and the steering wheel shakes too much until I stop and then everything comes back to normal. That situation is very frequently and very dangerous, because it happened to me many times while driving on a highway with a heavy traffic behind me including semi trucks. If I die in my Jeep due to malfunctions FROM COMPANY my family can sue.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Potential Consequences:
While driving the transmission and clutch system blew up. And I mean that in the literale sense. Sparks and a big flash. Unfortunately, I was an hour away from where I live. This caused me to have to find a way home and find a tow company that would be able to pick up my jeep on the side of the highway, tow it an hour to me. I couldn't afford that, so it was taken to the Chrysler dealership there and it was there for a month before they could work on it due to the parts having to be ordered and shipped in. Once the entire clutch system and transmission fully replaced I have to find a way to go back and pick it up. It was after hours when I finally got to it. That's when the mechanic that worked on it researched and found the recall for the transmission and clutch system because they would blow up. Just as mine did. But the next set of problems started as soon as I picked my jeep up. Pulls to the right when braking, push start won't start saying the fobs are not detected while I'm holding them in my hands. All lights on cluster go off randomly, the steering wheel locks up while I'm driving causing more danger. The traction control, sway bar will go off and on as well as the push start will not turn off. I did manage to take a short clip of this happening while I'm driving.

The screen to my jeep is delaminating and is almost unusable. I can't even turn the screen off now and the car will try to make SOS calls and call people from my phone. It will turn on directions automatically. I almost ran over a pedestrian because I was distracted with the screen trying to hang up from a phone call that the car automatically dialed. My [XXX] son just started driving this vehicle and I worry for his safety and the safety around him. STEERING
Potential Consequences:
It is the death wobble. I took the car in once. My cars started violently shaking when I would hit 58 Miles per hour and curve to the left, or the right and shakes so uncontrollably that I would have to tap the brakes but not too hard. Is I did not want to go off the road period there were cars that were behind me. That would shoot off to every direction trying to get around me. And yes, of course it's dangerous. Not supposed to be going down the interstate. Drinking a d*** Bloody Mary anyways. I took it into 2 dealerships. There are car places around where I live. They went ahead and diagnosed it and charged me $5060 or no 70 something. To fix it and it was even worse, so I brought it back to them. They tried to balance the other tire but that did not work, and that is the point where the other mechanics came over and said, that's the death wobble, which I had never heard of. He then told me about the staring damper, which then I looked everything up and saw that you had a class action settled where you were supposed to take cars in and fix them. However, this person seems scared of their own shadow, so who knows, but I asked for the history to see if anything had been done? And you guys, Jeep or Jeep, refuse to give it to me, said I would have to call the dealership, I called the dealership, they said, oh we don't give you a copy of that. I said, well, why wouldn't you? I mean, it is my car that I'm buying from y'all and they said, yeah, sorry, we don't do that. You'll have to get like a car, fax or something. I'm like, hold on, you guys. Sure, don't want to pay for anything. Considering this whole entire thing. Is your fault? And uh, the fact that you guys asked for a Vin number in order to fix my vehicle is ridiculous because whether you had the Vin numbers stored or not, it's a 2018, and I got the d*** death wobble. Now, mine happens to be a limited edition golden eagle. And you will see in the videos. I told them it was going to end up costing them a lot mor
