American Honda Motor Co. (Honda) is recalling certain model year 2016 Civic 2-Door vehicles manufactured February 23, 2016, through May 20, 2016. The affected vehicles may have a damaged LED side marker light circuit board inside the taillight assembly, making the marker light inoperable. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Assoc. Equipment."

AND I'M IN FINANCE WITH NO BACKGROUND IN CAR MECHANICS AND I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG AS SOON AS I DROVE OF THE LOT. AND THEN THEY TRIED TO SAY WHO WOULD HAVE KNOWN BUT SEVERAL OF MY FRIENDS AND MECHANICS SAID IT WASN'T OBVIOUS SO THEY FIXED IT. I THEN TOLD THEM BEFOREHAND I GOT THE VEHICLE PURCHASED THAT I REQUIRED A STATE INSPECTION TO MAKE SURE IT FELL UNDER THE INSPECTION RULES OF TEXAS AND THEY SWORE AND SIGNED OFF ON PAPERWORK THAT THIS WAS DONE ON TWO SEPARATE WORK FORMS. WELL WHILE I WAS DRIVING I WAS RAN OFF THE ROAD AS MY HORN DIDN'T FUNCTION AT ALL AFTER THEY HAD SWORN THEY HAD DONE TWO INSPECTIONS AT THIS POINT AND I HAVE THE PAPERWORK TO PROVE IT. I COULD HAVE LOST MY LIFE IN AN ACCIDENT IF I HAD NO DROVE OFF IN THE SHOULDER AND THE. THIS IS DANGEROUS I ALWAYS HAVE MY KIDS WITH ME. WE ALWAYS HAVE INFECTIONS THAT CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO BREATHINNG IN THIS FREON. EVERY YEAR IT GETS FIXED IN THE SUMMER. IT WORKS FINE FOR OYR 2 SUMMER MONTHS THEN I DONT HAVE TO USE IT THAT OFTEN BUT AS SOON AS THE HEAT ROLLS UP AGAIN I TAKE IT IN FOR A CHECK AND IT HAS NO FREON LEFT.
