FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

Potential Consequences:

My accord seems to trigger automatic brakes for no reason. I have noticed it happening primarily on freeways and expressways (while traveling at high speed)which is extremely dangerous. There has been only a single instance of this behavior while driving on a 35 MPH posted speed corridor. My latest experience was on 6/29/24 around 10:30 am. Contacted the dealership with the issue. They said they will call back, but haven't heard from them yet.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS

Potential Consequences:

I was driving about 35 mph with nothing in front of me and suddenly, the “brake” warning came on and the automatic brake engaged. There was a car behind me, but thankfully far enough behind that a rear end collision did not occur. I’m very concerned. I think the system is called CMBS (collision mitigation braking system). I would just as soon not have to have it!

Potential Consequences:

Paint on top of the hood is peeling and causing rust. Upon talking to 2 different paint and body shops, I was informed they have had other Honda owners with pearl white paint come in for same issue. I took my car to local Honda dealership and they informed me there is no recall on this paint so they can’t do anything. However, when doing google search there have been numerous issues with Honda paint. As someone who paid thousands of dollars for car, getting maintenance only at Honda dealerships and not getting in any accidents, now I have problem that costs thousands of dollars and there’s no responsibility from manufacturer. Someone needs to address this issue

Defect Description:

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM

Potential Consequences:

My 2019 Honda Accord has recently with in the last two weeks started to randomly cut out. Driving down the road and completely cuts off. So far I have been able to release the throttle, and re-apply and it would go again. I drive Uber/Lyft in the Tampa Bay area and this problem is a Huge concern for my safety as well as everyone else. Crown Honda Pinellas Park, FL had it for two days and claimed they couldn't get it to happen on a test drive, so they couldn't fix it. All warning lights came on, but reset after the car was turned off and currently have not come back on yet.

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

Potential Consequences:

Emergency front collision braking system activates out of nowhere, causing the car to suddenly brake with no warning, although there is nothing in front of the vehicle. Now all the mitigation system lights are on, and the braking system is no longer working. I took it to Honda to repair it twice within the year, and now it happened again, almost causing an accident.
