The contact made several attempts to start the vehicle and then waited for approximately an hour before the vehicle finally started as intended. FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
Potential Consequences:
Purchased car on 11-30-21. Three (3) times, most recently 3-5-22, while making a lane change from a single lane to multiple lanes on a right curve, the vehicle has suddenly decelerated and the braking system came on. Fortunately, no one was behind me on any of the three (3) occurrences. The vehicle did not come to a complete stop. Speed at time of each incident was around 45 mph and the vehicle slowed to under 30 mph abruptly.
Corrective Action:
Purchased car on 11-30-21.
