General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2020 Buick Enclave, Cadillac XT4, XT5, Escalade, Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, Traverse, GMC Yukon, Yukon XL, 2018-2021 Chevrolet Express, GMC Savana, 2019-2020 Chevrolet Blazer, Silverado 1500, GMC Acadia, Sierra 1500, and certain Continental tires sold to the aftermarket for various model year 2018-2021 vehicles. The affected tires were cured for too long during production.

Potential Consequences:
9 DAYS AFTER TAKING POSSESSION OF MY 2019 ACADIA, WITH LESS THAN 900 MILES ON IT, IT STOPPED WORKING. THE FIRST TIME I HAD A PROBLEM I HAD GOTTEN OUT OF THE TRUCK TO RUN INTO A STORE. WHEN I TRIED TO START IT I WAS GETTING A MESSAGE TO SHIFT TO PARK. THE ELECTRIC WAS ON, BUT THE TRUCK WOULD NOT START. I CALLED FOR A TOW TRUCK. THE TOW DRIVER GOT THE TRUCK STARTED AND ADVISED ME TO DRIVE IT TO THE DEALER LESS THAN 1 MILE AWAY. WHILE DRIVING ON A MAJOR ROAD I LOST MY POWER STEERING AND STABILTRAK, MAKING IT FEEL LIKE I LOST MY BRAKES. MY EXPERIENCE AT THE DEALER WAS HORRIBLE. THEY CHANGED MY BATTERY AND SAID THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM. I DID NOT EVEN MAKE IT 24 HOURS BEFORE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. THE ELECTRIC WAS ON BUT THE TRUCK WAS NOT RUNNING. MY MOTHER HAS BECOME TRAPPED TWO TIMES DUE TO THE LOCKS ON THE VEHICLE NOT WORKING. THE ISSUE ONLY HAPPENS WHEN IT RAINS.
