Safety Issue:
Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Jeep Cherokee and 2015 Chrysler 200, Jeep Renegade, RAM ProMaster, and 2016 Fiat 500X vehicles equipped with 9-speed automatic transmissions. The transmission sensor clusters may have insufficient crimps in the transmission wire harness, and as a result, the transmission may unexpectedly shift to neutral. On August 29, 2016 Chrysler added the 2016 Fiat 500X vehicles to this recall.

CAR WILL RANDOMLY TURN ITSELF OFF WHILE DRIVING. THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES (I CURRENTLY HAVE JUST OVER 70K MILES ON THE CAR). THERE ARE ALSO ELECTRICAL ISSUES (SEIZURE WARNING SHOULD COME WITH THIS CAR- THE TOUCH SCREEN RADIO WILL TURN ITSELF OFF AND ON CONTINUOUSLY WHILE DRIVING). AS WITH MOST OTHER COMPLAINTS, MY DRIVERS SIDE DOOR HANDLE CAME OFF AS WELL.

DEALER COULD FIND NOTHING WRONG, THOUGH NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS CONTINUE TO BE LOGGED ABOUT IT. THEN EARLIER THIS YEAR, I WENT TO OPEN THE HATCH AND THE RUBBER PUSH-BUTTON FELL OUT. I WAS ABLE TO GET IT BACK IN THERE BUT THAT ONLY TOOK A PASSENGER SLAMMING THE HATCH SHUT FOR ALL OF THE PARTS TO FALL OUT IN TO THE STREET. NOW IT WILL NOT OPEN FROM THE OUTSIDE NOR THE INSIDE. I REALLY WANTED TO LOVE THIS CAR BUT IT'S BEEN KIND OF A DISAPPOINTMENT.
