The car has open recalls on it that are supposed to be corrected with over the air software updates. The update was scheduled for Thursday, November 14, 2024. The update failed. The updated was rescheduled for Thursday, November, 21, 2024. It failed. On Friday, November 22, 2024 at 3:30 PM EST, I tried to access my car but it was updating without any notice or warning.... headlights, taillights and interior light were on until 9:00 PM. I could not use the car! I checked the car on Saturday, November, 23, 2024 at 1:00 PM. The update failed. The version of the update is supposed be be 2.2 APK 1.49. It is still APK 1.47. Afterward, I could not gain access to my car without changing the batter on the remote control. The NFC reader is not working, the MyFisker app cannot be linked to the car due to a software issue and the FiskerLive App could not unlock the car, either.

Defect Description:
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Potential Consequences:
I have emailed the support department several times, but I have received automated messages with no answers. This list was sent to Fisker within three months of owning the vehicle. *1. Our vehicle powered off on its own as I was about to leave my house, and then the battery light on the dash came on. This happened two times! 2. I have replaced the key fob's battery 10 times since we acquired the car on [XXX]. I was left stranded in a parking lot. 3. This vehicle is our primary family vehicle, and our [XXX] and [XXX] ride in the back. Their backseat safety belts continuously keep getting stuck and won't retract. 4. Door handles don't retract. 5. The vehicle keeps rolling backward or forward when in the park. I almost rolled back at the school pickup line and hit the car behind me. I have to keep pressing the brake pedal while waiting to move. *6. The Brakes are squeaking on and off while driving around the city at low speeds. The brakes take a long time to engage and don't stop right away. 7. The vehicle started making beeping sounds suddenly, and no lights were on the dashboard to indicate the cause of the beeps. 8. The back of the car gets very hot, as the ceiling vents by the passenger lights do not have any airflow. Is that only decorative? The only vents that work are the small ones on the center console pointing to the back. It gets very stuffy, and my kids get carsick. 9. We ordered winter tires and never received them but paid for them. 10. The air vents in the front console are broken. The tech who came to perform the first software update reported the issue and requested a repair ticket. There have been no updates. 11. The tires have unusual wear and tear for a car under 6 months, they are bald. 12. I didn't feel safe in this car, and it was parked in my driveway. Fisker support won't reach back to us and we don't know where to take it for service. 13. ADAS warning lights turn on all the time. SERVICE BRAKES
Potential Consequences:
On 11/13 4 pm (PST), my car received an OTA update for 2.2 Software which provides the correction for unexpected reduction in regenerative braking, NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V623000. However, the update has made the car non-operational. At present, the car is unable to turn on, doors are locked and are unresponsive to the keyfob. In summary, the OTA 2.2 has made a car which was operational to non-operational. Since the Fisker is bankrupt, there is no way to contact them or any other relevant authorities to fix my car. Hope NHTSA can help out as these OS updates are causing cars to become non-operational rather than fixing the issue !

POWER TRAIN
Potential Consequences:
I have 2.1. software and the car was bricked (inoperable) for 2 month until a tech from Ocean Reapiar Services (ORS) unbricked the car. What he found was that the drive motor units are corrupt and any Over The Air updates will brick the car again. The technician came back with a engineer 2 more times in 10 days to try to remedy the problem and the conclusion was that if I receive any over the air updates (OTA) the car will brick again and not be functional. According to the Tech and engineer from ORS. The drive motor units are corrupt and there are no fixes for this problem and any OTA's will make the car inoperable .

Defect Description:
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Potential Consequences:
While my 2023 Fisker Ocean One was parked in my garage in the beginning of October, the vehicle received a Over-The-Air Software Update to Fisker OS v2.2, in order to align the car with a NHTSA recall (NHTSA campaign 24V623, Safety Recall Campaign TSB11062408). I was away for a few days when this OTA happened automatically. When I returned Oct. 6, the car's keyfob was unresponsive, and I was unable to unlock the car. I managed to open the vehicle's rear hatch using the Fisker smartphone app, and tried to start vehicle from front seat, with no success. Opening the driver door triggered the alarm. Since then, Fisker technicians have been unable to recover the car, having tried numerous times to re-install OTA software, and come in person to use diagnostic software tool to re-install. They confirmed with me that many other owners have experienced this "bricking" of the Fisker Ocean. My car was also inspected by my insurance company, USAA, who did not have the expertise to evaluate, nor could provide a technician recommendation to do diagnostics. Vehicle has now been inoperable since October 6th. Techs tell me that "the PKC module and key fob need replacing, plus software 2.2 reinstalled, and this should be a warranty repair". I cannot locate any warranty service providers, nor find any solution or service technicians who can address this "bricking" . My car currently requires 4 RECALL SERVICES to be performed: NHTSA Campaigns 24V623, 24V499, and 24V404, plus a door handle recall. Please advise how I can obtain the required warranty service to get my car functional again, or provide guidance on how to obtain a buyback of the vehicle from Fisker.
