Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2013-2018 Winnebago Era, Travato, Minnie Winnie, Fuse, View, Trend, Aspect, Brave, Vista, Sightseer, Adventurer, Forza, Journey, Tour, Revel, Paseo, Chalet, Access, and Intent motorhomes and Commercial vehicles, and 2013-2018 Itasca Spirit, Navion, Cambria, Tribute, Sunstar, Sunova, Suncruiser, Solei, Meridian, Elipse, Horizon, Reyo, and Via motorhomes. These vehicles are equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' fire extinguishers that may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. TOOK TO DEALER WHO SAID THERE WAS A BAD TIRE SENSOR AND HE REPLACED IT. SINCE THEN INDICATOR LIGHT DOES NOT GO ON EVEN WHEN THE TIRE PRESSURE IS LOW. COULD THIS BE RELATED TO THE DOCUMENTED ELECTRICAL ISSUE? I CONSIDER THIS A SAFETY ISSUE.

I WILL NOT PLAY RUSSIAN ROULETTE WITH MY LIFE OR ENDANGER OTHERS ON THE ROAD, PARTICULARLY BECAUSE OF THE RANDOM AND UNPREDICTABLE NATURE OF THIS DEFECT. I FEEL THIS VEHICLE IS UNSAFE AND SHOULD NOT BE ON THE ROAD.

I WAS TOLD BY THE CHRYSLERR/DODGE DEALER THE ENGINE WOULD RESET ITSELF AND WHEN IT DID BRING THE VEHICLE IN. I WAS TOLD THE CONTROL UNIT NEEDED TO BE UPDATED. A FEW WEEKS LATER, WHILE ON A MAJOR INTERSTATE HIGHWAY, THE VEHICLE AGAIN LOST ALL POWER WITH THE MESSAGE SERVICE TRANSMISSION. THIS TIME ALL WHEELS WERE LOCKED AND CAR WOULD NOT RESTART FOR HOURS. WHEN IT DID RESTART, THE MESSAGE CHANGED TO SERVICE ENGINE. TOWED TO A DEALER WHO COULD NOT DETERMINE REASON AND THREW UP HIS HANDS.
