Defect Description:

SERVICE BRAKES

Potential Consequences:

We are continually getting "AdvanceTrac" warning lights on the dash. We have been unable to find a Ford dealer to work on this issue. The light normally goes away after shutting off the vehicle and restarting. However, when this light comes on, the cruise control shuts off and is inoperable until the warning light resets. We believe that the traction control system is inoperable while this light is on.
