Safety Issue:

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2014-2018 Sightseer, Itasca Sunova, 2016-2025 Forza, Vista, and Itasca/Winnebago Sunstar, 2015-2025 Adventurer, 2015-2024 Commercial Vehicle, 2015-2028 Itasca Suncruiser, and 2016-2017 Itasca Solei recreational vehicles. The hood bracket adhesive may have been incorrectly applied which can allow the bracket to detach.

Potential Risk:
A detached hood bracket may become a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash.
FREE Recall Solution:
Dealers will inspect and repair as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters began being mailed January 31, 2025. Owners may contact Winnebago at 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 192.

Safety Issue:

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2017-2020 Itasca Vista, Sunstar, and Adventurer 35F motorhomes. An electrical connector was mounted directly on the floor instead of to a standoff backet as intended.

Potential Risk:
If the floor gets wet where the electrical connection is mounted, there is an increased risk of an electrical short and fire.
FREE Recall Solution:
Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will correctly mount the electrical connector onto a metal standoff bracket, free of charge. The recall began December 10, 2019. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 160.

Safety Issue:

Winnebago Industries, Inc (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2016-2019 Winnebago Era, Travato, Fuse, View, Trend, Aspect, Paseo, Via, Adventurer, Journey, Tour, and Grand Tour motorhomes. These vehicles have an auxiliary solar charging port circuit that is not fused.

Potential Risk:
If solar panels are connected and they exceed the amperage capacity of the circuit, the unprotected circuit can increase the risk of a fire.
FREE Recall Solution:
Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will install an inline 15 amp fuse into the auxiliary solar charging port circuit, free of charge. Winnebago issued interim notifications to owners on December 4, 2018. The recall began June 5, 2019. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885.

LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES

Potential Consequences:

The contact owns a 2019 Winnebago Adventurer. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V826000 (Latches/Locks/Linkages, Structure); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact stated that while her husband was driving at approximately 65 MPH, there was an abnormal sound coming from the under the hood. The contact stated that after arriving at the intended destination, the contact’s husband lifted the hood and became aware that passenger’s side hood bracket had detached from the hood. The part was not recovered from the highway. The failure mileage was approximately 8,000.
