Potential Consequences:
The trailer frame can not support the weight of the boat. I’m hauling my boat on the trailer going down a divided highway when I notice the trailer side marker light on passenger moving all around through my side mirror. The whole front of the fender broke off and was jammed on my trailer tire nearly causing a blow out or flying off and causing a wreck. I immediately pulled over and luckily it didn’t cause a blow out but it did rub my tire bad. I could smell the burnt rubber and the rear 2 bolts was the only thing still holding it on. Both of the inner fender shields flew off driving down the same highway. The leaf springs and single axle isn’t sufficient for a Tracker 195 Tournament Edition with a Mercury Pro XS Max 115hp and loaded with fishing equipment. I’ve done replaced wheel bearings 4 times, the axle shaft within a year after purchase, within 4 months had a blowout, the wheel nearly came off driving down the divided highway. It’s been one thing after another. It swerves bad, hops ridiculously on the smallest bumps, and squeaks like a train.

WHEELS
Potential Consequences:
Three of the four wheel axle hubs have water in them. The trailer is a little over a year old and less than 1000 miles driven. It is currently in the local service center (Tracker Marine - Branson, MO) from the Manufacturer. The same trailers have a recall for incorrectly tightened hubs. It does not appear this issue is part of a recall and the service center said my trailer is not part of the other recall. I do not have documents yet.

SERVICE BRAKES
Potential Consequences:
I have control issues due to inadequte suspension. The problem I'm (and others) having is due to the suspension on these trailers. When pulling the trailer on the roads there is exessive bouncing to the point where one could lose control. Personally I have checked my trailer wieght, vehicle weight, tounge weight, etc. and found everything to be set up correctly but I cant solve the bouncing. I also had it in to the dealer and asked them to check the trailer, they said they pulled it with their truck and felt it was normal. The issue is somewhat road related and is worse on different roads or even on different sections of the same road but there is no warning. Some roads are so bad that you cant have a conversation because of the repeated bouncing. The trailer is made for road use so it should be safe on all public roads. The worse roads are the concrete freeways and I find some roads are almost unuseable to me. I thought maybe it was just my setup but then I joined a facebook group called Nitro ZV Nation and found that many others in the group have the same issues with bouncing and also excessive suspension noise. A lot of people have posted that upgrading their trailers suspension (shackles, equilizers, some case leaf springs) has resolved the issues caused by these parts. Some of these trailers are only a year old and this shouldn't be required by the owners to make them safe. People have posted pictures of how worn out and egg shaped the mounting holes for these parts have become, very dangerous looking. And there are people who are unaware of what is going on and coping with the bouncing. Left unattended this will eventually worsen and become even more dangerous. I believe these problems are caused by poor design and/or inferrior parts. The inadequate suspension leads to the trailer bounce which leads to parts wear which leads to more bouncing, etc. I wanted to make the safety administration aware of something I feel should be looked into further.
