Defect Description:
SERVICE BRAKES
Potential Consequences:
My front brake is very spongy. I can pull the lever all the way to the bar and the bike will slow, but not nearly enough for hard braking or an emergency situation. Yes, it is available for inspection. My safety, and my passengers safety is at risk from not being able to stop in an appropriate amount of time or distance. Yes, it has been confirmed. We have tried bleeding the brakes on 2 occasions. Both times an ABS bleed and manual bleed was performed. No lamps or other symptoms have been observed, the issue has been present since I have owned the bike.
