There is a recall on the windows. I received the notice from NHTSA in Jan of 2023. I have been trying to get Thor to perform the repair for 14 months, without success. The windows "could" fall off. In fact, one of my windows did fly off on the freeway and go through the windshield of a passenger car. Luckily nobody died, and my insurance paid them. But my other windows are loose and threatening to do the same. That is the very issue this recall is meant to solve. Very dangerous, and Thor isn't doing anything about it.

Hello We took the RV on our trip in Nov 2021 and noticed cold air entering the cabin near the driver and passenger feet. After pulling the 45degress trim that covers sits between the floor and wall I noticed that is a gap and I could see the road. Upon further investigation it looks like the side wall has separated from the floor of RV. Upon further research, it appears the entire length of the sidewalls of the RV is attached to the floor using 3&1/2 inch machine screws. In my case those screws had sheared off. That essentially means the side walls on both sides are coming off loose from the bottom. I am shocked that THOR would make such a shoddy design. The gaps between the floor and side wall exposes the entire coach to outside air and makes passengers venerable to exhaust fumes from the generator, especially when travelling at highway speeds as there is considerable low pressure in side the cabin. I am afraid the whole structure of the RV above the floor is at risk of a catastrophic failure. This is a 26000 LB Class RV and the way side walls are attached to the floor and to the chassis with these flimsy screws that are simply drilled into the L-bracket of the floor does not seem like a design that can withstand the stresses put on it. Thor has refused to fix this issue. I urge you to kindly investigate this issue as it probably affects all there Class A RVs. Please reach out to me at [XXX] or [XXX]. I have pictures and videos of the issue but not right now. INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
