Defect Description:
LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES
Potential Consequences:
The contact owns a 2023 Thor Motor Coach Miramar. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the entry door latch failed to unlatch. The contact was stuck inside the RV and could not unlatch the door. In addition, the contact made several attempts to unlatch the entry door and the entry door handle fractured and detached. The contact stated that a good Samaritan arrived and assisted the contact with exiting the RV. The RV was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 8,176. The VIN was not available.
