8/26/14 mechanic found bad water pump/ ac blowing warm - recharged system, on 8/27 made clacking sound. 8/28 went 10 miles at 70 mph. on off ramp of freeway car started smoking, air went completely warm, battery light and heat indicator light came on. pulled into parking lot & had to be towed. 8/29/14 second mechanic found ac compressor had to be replaced. plastic brace that supported belts connected to the ac compressor had broken off and wrecked the compressor. said could have caused much more damage. should the water pump and ac compressor have gone at 51,000 miles? all maintenance had been done regularly. this is much too early for these parts to have gone bad.
