Newmar Corporation (Newmar) is recalling certain 2019-2022 Bay Star, Bay Star Sport, Ventana, Dutch Star, New Aire, Canyon Star, 2019 Ventana LE, 2020-2022 Kountry Star, 2019-2020 Mountain Aire, London Aire, Essex, and 2021 Super Star vehicles. The wiring under the seats may be incorrectly secured, which can lead to a pinched wire in the seat adjustment mechanism and cause an electrical short circuit.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL
Potential Consequences:
The contact owns a 2021 Newmar New Aire RV. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the instrument cluster failed to function as intended. The contact stated that the instrument cluster was distorted with moving bubbles inside. The contact stated that due to the failure it was difficult to read the screen. The dealer was made aware of the failure. The RV was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.

WHILE USING THE FACTORY INSTALLED TPMS ON MY NEW AIRE WITH A SPARTAN CHASSIS, THE TIRE PRESSURES SOMETIMES HAS AN EXCESS READING UP TO 170 DEGREES WHILE DRIVING AND INCREASES WHEN STOPPED. I CAN REST MY HAND ON THE TIRES WITHOUT ANY TROUBLE SO I'M SURE IT IS NOT AS HOT AS IT STATES AND I CHECK THE PRESSURES WITH A GAUGE DAILY BEFORE DRIVING, ALL PRESSURES ARE CORRECT. SOMETIMES AFTER SEVERAL HOURS OF DRIVING I GET ALL NORMAL READINGS AND OTHER TIMES AFTER ONLY 2 HOURS IT WILL SAY 4 OF 6 TIRES ARE OVERHEATING, ONLY THE REAR TIRE SENSORS SO FAR. THIS HAS ONLY HAPPENED ON THE HIGHWAY AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, NOT IN TOWN.
