Defect Description:
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Potential Consequences:
The vehicle was modified by Midwest Automotive Designs into a Passage 148 model class B RV with a Firefly Integrations LLC multiplex electronic control module. A Colorado Carefree Awning was included as OEM on this vehicle. On June 2nd while parked in my driveway and not in use, the awning extended automatically (spontaneously). I went to the vehicle and retracted it using the control panel and once retracted it immediately re-extended. This occurred over and over again. I finally removed the fuse to stop this from occurring. This is the same issue and same equipment identified in recall 22E-070 as applying to Coachmen RVs of this era.
