We lock the door to our motorhome via the indoor turning lock every night. In the morning the door would not unlock. It took a lot of jiggling to finally open it. To keep it from happening again we zip tied the lock to the door handle as shown in the picture attached. We live in the motorhome and were fearful of entrapment since that is the only man door

Defect Description:
FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Potential Consequences:
On 8/9/23 my diesel RV on a Freightliner chassis threw a 3664 code for a bad Diesel Exhaust Fluid sensor. Lucky I was only 20 miles from home and made it home before the engine derated. I could have easily been stranded on the side of the interstate putting myself and my family in danger. I had to replace the entire diesel exhaust fluid head to fix the problem as the sensor is not a separate part. This seems to be a very common problem for this to go bad and is a huge safety issue. I now carry a spare head in case this happens again as the parts are hard to find.
