Ducati North America (Ducati) is recalling certain 2018 Multistrada 1260, 1260S, and Pikes Peak motorcycles. The side stand may be improperly welded, potentially causing the stand to break.

SERVICE BRAKES
Potential Consequences:
The contact owns a 2018 Ducati Multistrada 1260. The contact stated that extra brake travel time was needed to stop the motorcycle due to poor rear brake performance. The contact stated that there was no warning light illuminated. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer had been notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be inspected or repaired.
