bmw 750i Problems

bmw 750i 2007 Complaints

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

hid headlights and the amount of glare produced needs to be regulated by the government. i drive a lot of narrow county 2 lane raads where there are no right side white lines. i have to close my eyes sometimes when cars with these new headlights approach. i drive with regular headlights at safe speeds at night and have never felt the need for these flamethrower lights. i'm sure drivers with hid's love them but they are jeopardizing the safety of themselves and me. bmw lights seem to be the worst. the american made cars with hid's seem to be better.

POWER TRAIN

i brought my vehicle to a complete stop, shifted the vehicle in "park" and saw the "p" light come on the dash, and proceeded to exit the vehicle. because i was only retrieving my mail from the mailbox, i did not turn the car off or put the parking brake on. as i exited the car, and took my foot off the brake pedal, the vehicle started to move forward even thought the "p" was lit on the dash. i immediately grabbed onto the door and jumped back in the car, as it almost hit me from behind and pressed on the brake pedal, and all the while, the shift indicator was lit in the "p" for park position. since then, i have had a few instances where the vehicle will not start and the dash indicator light reads "transmission fault drive moderately". it appears and then goes away and does not re-appear. from this point, i now use the emergency brake whenever i stop the vehicle to get out. AIR BAGS

my passenger air bags are inoperable in my vehicle. it was this way when i bought the car. it was reported to me the vehicle was under recall for the situation but when i had the car taken to the dealership, they informed me my particular vehicle wasn't under recall. my question is why is my car isn't one of the vehicles under recall. i had the car checked out by a certified bmw mechanic and he stated it's in the passenger occupancy detector.

SERVICE BRAKES

i purchased my 2007 750i bmw in 11/2013. shortly after i purchased it, i started having brake booster issues. the brake pad becomes hard to press and i have actually rolled in the middle of intersections because the car would not stop. i took my car in to bmw of dallas and was told that my brake booster was contaminated but my vehicles brake booster was "checked out" (not repaired) in 2011 and didn't have a problem "then" so bmw is not going to repair the recall now. i was told if i wanted the brake booster repaired i would have to pay for it and bmw is not responsible because in 2011 when it was "checked out" it was fine. i feel that bmw knows this is an issue and before i have an accident or kill myself they should honor the recall and ¿repair¿ my vehicles brake booster free of charge. gm is honoring recalls after issues caused deaths¿..is bmw waiting for deaths to honor their recall??? that¿s not good, not good at all! then on friday 4/4 i received a call from bmw relations in reference to my email, stating i should contact the nhtsa because it is not bwms responsibility to repair my brake booster recall that bmw of dallas identified was contaminated. is there anything i can do to get bmw to honor this recall and have them repair it free of charge to me since it is an know issue?
