Defect Description:

STRUCTURE:BODY

Potential Consequences:

All the welds that hold the frame rails to the gooseneck portion of the trailer have broke loose. further inspection shows the welds didn't penetrate the steel, pulling away from the vertical goose neck portion of the trailer. Only the small gusset plates under the frame are holding it together at this time. Had i not noticed, the trailer would have broken in half when loaded, losing the equipment and injuring myself and others. This occurred over a month ago, I sent pictures to the dealer and manufacturer and they are unwilling to acknowledge or remedy the problem. They recently denied the claim because the warranty expired. We only use the trailer occasionally throughout the year, and regardless of the use, the construction was faulty from the manufacturer. I noticed the problem when loading a tractor and saw the trailer flex improperly.
