every time my 2010 volkswagen cc with a dsg transmission (see action no. pe09035) comes to a stop, and every time is starts in motion from a stop, the entire car trembles. my local dealer (ganley) in bedford, ohio, has told me that since there are no error codes, the vehicle "is supposed to do that." volkswagen of america has taken the identical position. i know the car is not supposed to do what it is doing.

POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

two months into a new purchase of a 2010 cc i noticed a constant" bucking and jerking" of the car in traffic or after the car becomes hot.. its very noticeable at low speed stop and go traffic.. it's very annoying. and many times shifting from reverse to 1st it feels like the gears take a second to connect so there is a "hard buck" once it does and you can hear a hard cranking noise. ive taken the car back to dealer it took them a day and a half to duplicate the problem. they say its the mechatronics system. i've been waiting nearly 4 weeks for replacement.

FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE

i have owned a 1997 vw eurovan camper for 3 years. it is only driven half a dozen times a year and is garage stored. two years ago, upon start up, i noticed the smell of fuel (gasoline) and found it spraying from a fuel filter connection beneath the vehicle. i took it to a vw dealer, who replaced the crimp connections to the filter. now again last month, the same problem has recurred. the leak appears to be coming not from the crimped fuel-line, but from some sort of quick-connect type of fitting that connects to the lower filter. note that the problem only seems to occur upon start-up in the morning, but disappears some time later, so that when the vehicle is taken in to a dealer, there is no leak to be observed. from looking on the internet, i have found that 1993 eurovans were subject to a recall in canada for leaking fuel lines, but nothing ever in the us. evidently, the problem is still ongoing as i have read dozens of complaints and postings on the internet that described fuel leaks here in the us, some of which indicate fuel leak-related fires have completely burned eurovans to the ground. i have also read that vw dealers are denying there is even a problem.

tl*the contact owns a 2010 volkswagen cc. the contact was driving approximately 50 mph, when he noticed that there was excessive vibration and shaking within the steering wheel, exterior door panels and floorboard area which caused difficulty in maintaining the control of the vehicle. the failure occurred the same day of the vehicle purchase date and continued when driving at the speed rate of 50 mph or greater. the vehicle was taken to the dealer on five different occasions for the identical problem. the technician informed that the manufacturer installed the incorrect type of tires on the vehicle that affected in the proper balancing of the tires. a set of four tires were replaced two different times on the vehicle. the second time the technician replaced the four tires with a different tire manufacturer and the problem was corrected. in addition, the rear driver and passenger side windows would leak when exposed to water. the dealer attempted to repair the defect on five different times but there was no successful resolution. the failure mileage was 240. the vin was unavailable.

when car is cold, acceleration-stopping is fine. after engine is warm, take foot off brake and car lunges forward two or more times. when accelerate, there is slight hesitation then it clunks and proceeds forward, throwing passenger heads backwards. mentioned problem to dealer at first oil change, but was told that's just the way the new transmission operates. waiting to see if recall issued before next oil change. love car but lunging and hesitation is dangerous!

significant hesitation and juttering, vibration, and acceleration lag when starting from a stationary stop. issue also occurs when starting from a slow or virtually stopped condition. vehicle wants to cut out (engine appears to want to shut down) before lurching forward while gently accelerating. the issue is hazardous when parking in parking lots because there is no finesse on slow speed acceleration. this issue is challenging when traveling in heavy traffic at slow speeds. this issue also occurs when slowing down from highway speeds as the engine appears to cut out before recovering to a normal resting revolution. dealership has confirmed with vw that this is within "normal operating expectations", there are obvious problems with the vehicle's gearbox that i wish vw would solve.
